  • The Pocono Amateur Radio Klub plans to offer classes in Morse Codeif sufficient interest is shown. Instruction will emphasize reading and copying the code and practical use.   • Monroe County Conservation District Environmental Education Center’s educational maple sugaring programs at its maple sugaring site in Marshalls Creek. Two-hour tours include stops at various stations providing information on the history of maple sugaring, the evaporating process and the opportunity to tap a maple tree. Also shown are methods of collecting maple sap and the cooking process that produces maple syrup. Dates for organized groups (including students, scouts and any organizations) are available. Cost is $3/participant and scheduling is done on a first come, first served basis.   • The Pocono Family YMCA Youth Sports will begin coed T-ball and instructional leagues. Registration will be accepted online and at the YMCA on Main Street in Stroudsburg, deadline is March 28. The Coed T-ball League is designed for ages 4-6 and will serve as an introduction to the sport of baseball/softball. The Coed Instructional League is designed for children ages 6-8 years old.   • Pocono Mountain Bible Fellowship Church is holding a 13-week GriefShare seminar/support group on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The weekly video sessions are designed to help those grieving to successfully travel the journey from mourning to joy.   • Monroe County Conservation District’s Environmental Education Center (MCCEC) is offering a Scout Day Maple Sugar Event for scout groups. Programs can be scheduled between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. and are open to any level of scouts and their families. The day will feature a tour of the Sugarbush, including stops to learn about Native American and early pioneer methods of making maple syrup, the evaporator process and methods of identifying and tapping a maple tree.
