The Monroe County 2018-2019 regular hunting license will be available Monday, June 18, and can be obtained at the Treasurer’s Office in room 103 of the Monroe County Administrative Building at 1 Quaker Plaza in Stroudsburg.
Western Pocono Community Library, 131 Pilgrim Way in Brodheadsville, will begin its SummerQuest, “Libraries Rock” on Tuesday, June 19. It will run for nine weeks throughout the summer, ending on Thursday, Aug. 16. Programs are held on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., Wednesdays at 1 p.m. and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. All programs are free and open to all ages, however, registration is required. Kid’s Lunch Party at The Cooperage
This summer from June 18 through Aug. 8, The Cooperage will open its doors weekdays, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a kids lunch party, a completely free summer lunch program provided in partnership with the Wayne Highlands School District for children from infants through age 18. There are no signups or income requirements. There will be activities like arts and crafts, music, dancing, story time and more. No lunch July 4.

Music on Mondays
At Dansbury Depot, 5 S. Kistler St. in East Stroudsburg, enjoy music and art. Vendors and art begin at 6 p.m.; music at 7. A free will offering will be taken on behalf of the musicians. Rain or shine; this week’s featured musicians will be Juggernaut String Band with special guest Woodrow.
Fire Co. Picnic
Elmhurst/Roaring Brook Volunteer Fire Co. will hold its annual picnic, June 27-30. Wednesday will be cruise night with 300 vehicles. Thursday will feature a parade at 7 p.m. and music by the band Take 3. Friday will feature music by The Sperazza Band. Saturday will feature music by the band Old Friends. Picnic grounds will open Wednesday and Saturday at 5 p.m.; 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Free parking and NO admission price. Advanced Fly Tying
The Brodhead Chapter is offering a multi-week advanced fly tying class. You must register by Sunday, June 24.
